Primære forskningsområder
My key competences are to combine the fields of public health and psychology in research projects. My scientific main interest lies within the field of developmental psychology with a particular focus on developmental milestones and the associations with intelligence and personality. Methodologically I use epidemiology to conduct studies based on birth cohorts and registers. I have a special focus on the Copenhagen Perinatal Cohort from 1959-61.

Trine Flensborg-Madsen is involved in a number of research projects within the areas of developmental psychology, personality, intelligence, medical psychology, quality of life, and alcohol use disorders.

Undervisnings- og vejledningsområder
Teaches and lectures primarily in developmental psychology, intelligence, and personality. I have teaching experiences from several educations at the Faculty of Health, the University of Copenhagen:

Supervises students and PhD students at the Faculty of Health in topics within medical psychology.
