Ferromagnetic and permanent magnetic spheres as platform for single- and dual-analyte optical sensors
Publikation: Bidrag til tidsskrift › Konferenceartikel › Forskning › fagfællebedømt
An optical sensor platform based on (ferro)magnetic sensor macrospheres (MagSeMacs) was established. In contrast to existing technologies such sensors can be magnetically controlled. A simple coating procedure enables technology transfer from conventional sensor patches to MagSeMacs. Oxygen and pH sensitive spheres were prepared and their sensor characteristics were investigated. The benefits of magnetic control were demonstrated by evaluating concentration gradients in test systems.
